South Derry Football Championships

Glen was the venue this year for the South Derry Football Championship 2009. There were 22 schools taking part in four divisions. Every division was evenly matched and the standard throughout was excellent. A word of thanks to the South Derry board for their fine organisation, led by chairman Danny Quinn and everyone that helped with the teams, setting up the pitches, the catering and everything else that made the day run smoothly.
