City Oaks Hurling with Kevin Kelly

Bright and early on Sunday morning the Hurling City Oaks got underway with Kevin Kelly deliving the session. Players from Na Magha and the surrounding Inishowen clubs thoroughly enjoyed the session. Here's what one coach who attended the City Oaks had to say:

"Just a couple of lines to thank you for your coaching session with the U14s in Celtic Park yesterday morning. It was both informative, and enjoyable, and to me that is the 2 most important things for any coaching session. I know that our boys enjoyed it - and hopefully learned something as well!! It was good to see you concentrating on "real" things such as how to dispossess players without fouling as these are the things that win and lose matches - and I was glad to see you correcting the use of foul language as well. Anyway, keep up the good work - it will bear fruit for Derry and Ulster hurling somewhere down the line."

Thanks Kevin! The next session will be delivered by Derry Senior Hurling Captain Kevin Hinphey on Saturday 22nd August in Celtic Park
