Model Primary School Go Games
Over 50 pupils from the Model Primary School took part in there recent Go Games where one p6 class played the other. Both these classes have met in the past and always look forward to showing off their skills infront of each other.
The skills on show that day were a credit to the pupils and both teams left the hall with a smile on their face after thinking they beat the other class. There was great fun had by all the pupils and the teachers commented on the improvement that they have made over the term.

Bellaghy Road to Croker
Tonight Bellaghy Under 10's had their 'Road to Croker' All Ireland Final. The boys have been playing in this competition for the past 6 weeks and have really enjoyed themselves. The improvements in the players performance has been notable with improved first touch, speed of thought and the weak foot strongly evident. Well done to Martin Mc Faul and his team of coaches for organising such a brilliant competition.

Under 10 Indoor Hurling Blitz
On Saturday 20th February Templemore Sports Complex played host to an U10 Hurling Blitz with teams from Donegal, Tyrone and Derry. With 12 5 A side teams and over 70 players participating the day proved to be a real success with many players getting their first competitive taste of hurling this year. The excellent standard of hurling on the day was a real testament to the hard work being put into hurling at underage level in the area and we hope to see all those involved back again soon. Many thanks to all the underage coaches and player for taking part and to Kevin Hinphey and Simon Gillespie for organising and coordinating the event, keep up the excellent work! Some of the teams are pictured below:
